Ashes Of The Innocent - Bullet For My Valentine
Ashes of the innocent,
The end for you and me.
Darkened screams of agony,
Are begging, "Set me free!"
Mourning all your loved ones,
As their bodies turn to stone.
Violence, hate and agony,
Are what we've grown to know.
Hold me, Show me,
Bring me to my knees.
So as the fire burns,
And the tables turn.
We'll never rest in peace,
Rest in peace.
Ashes of the innocent,
Remind me of the past.
Taking scars of victory,
The time has passed too fast.
Singing broken melodies,
Like shards of broken glass.
Ripping through my riverie,
These scars will never last.
Hold me, Show me,
Bring me to my knees.
So as the fire burns,
And the tables turn.
well never rest in peace,
Rest in peace.
Hold me, Show me,
Bring me to my knees.
So as the fire burns,
And the tables turn.
We'll never rest in peace,
Rest in peace.
Ashes of the innocent,
The end for you and me.
Darkened screams of agony,
Are begging, "Set me free!"
Hold me, Show me,
Bring me to my knees.
So as the fire burns,
And the tables turn.
We'll never rest in peace,
Rest in peace.

‘Let’s Clean Up – Just Bin It’ please read on, much appreciated :D
-A clean city is a strong reflection of our moral and civic values. But clean cities don’t just come by chance. They require much responsibility and dedication to maintain.
-In partnership with the National Environment Agency, the Singapore Sports Council supports the “Singapore, Litter-Free” Campaign and is committed to ensure that all our events are litter-free. We would therefore like to urge our event participants to play their part by keeping the event site clean and disposing of their litter only in litterbins.
-The 'Singapore, Litter-Free' Programme for Public Outdoor Events is a new initiative to engage everyone attending large-scale events such as parties, parades and rallies to take ownership of their litter and not leave anything of their unwanted items behind for someone else to clear.
-The National Environment Agency (NEA) has been working with partners and several event organizers to ensure that large-scale events are litter-free.
In a litter-free event, the event organizer would encourage participants and spectators alike to make a conscious effort to take away all their rubbish with them and deposit the rubbish in the litterbins provided.
-Event organizers are encouraged to implement the following initiatives at their events:-
-Provide adequate and sufficient facilities to aid the proper disposal of unwanted items; and
-Make/ display messages to communicate, promote, and remind the audience/ participants to take ownership of their unwanted items and make the event 'litter-free', and
-(Optional) Conduct interactive activities to encourage/ motivate the public to keep the event venue clean.
-Besides working with the public event organizers, NEA also works closely with the grassroots organizations to implement the above-mentioned initiatives at community events.
-On 15 November 2003, Mr Othman Haron Eusofe, Mayor of South East CDC and M.P. of Marine Parade GRC, launched the 'Litter-Free' Parks, a joint initiative by the National Parks Board (NParks) and the National Environment Agency (NEA).
-This initiative involves the public in making parks litter-free, and this is achieved through the provision of adequate and sufficient facilities and making/ displaying messages, to remind the public to take ownership of their litter.
-If everyone could take ownership of their litter and take with them what they brought, our parks and gardens would be a more enjoyable place for all to enjoy.
-The government agencies have done a tremendous job in sprucing up the city centre with numerous trees and plants in anticipation of the IMF and World Bank visitors.
-Unfortunately when one peers into the lush foliage, it is not uncommon to see rubbish strewn by our residents - drink cans, plastic bags, cigarette butts, food wrappers, styrofoam boxes etc.
-More education is needed to get our residents to do their bit. Let's get the message to everyone.
-Many years ago it was not uncommon to have frequent tree-planting and clean the environment activities.
-Let's revive them. We certainly should not expect our government to have to pick up after us.
-The National Environment Agency (NEA) will continue to promote good hygiene and sanitation practices actively, with anti-littering programmes continuing all year-round.
-One of our major programmes is the "litter-free" events initiative introduced in 2002. So far, this initiative has drawn the support of many public event organisers. -During these litter-free events, event organisers are empowered to urge event participants to take ownership of their litter, while communicating the anti-littering message.
-Members of the public have to dispose their litter in the refuse bins provided when they attend events such as an open-air concert in a park, or a picnic by the beach.
-They are reminded that they should hold on to their litter if they cannot find a litter bin, and not leave litter behind for others to clean up.
-One recent example of a litter-free event is the National Day Parade. In June, NEA also extended the "Litter-Free" campaign to the hawker centres, which is among the many public facilities where we hope to improve on the level of cleanliness.
-We will require the involvement and cooperation of every stakeholder such as patrons, hawkers and cleaners for this endeavour. NEA's latest plan is to extend the programme to cover other premises frequented by the public such as coffeeshops, parks and bus interchanges.
-Besides public education and litter-free campaigns, NEA will continue with enforcement that is still necessary to deal with cases of non-compliance, or bad social behaviour.
-Nonetheless, we need everyone to do their part to keep Singapore litter-free all year round.
